Artist information
From the earliest days of childhood, immersed in the beauty of the natural world, I developed a profound connection with wildlife and the delicate ecosystems they inhabit. An appreciation for the natural world shaped my artistic journey rooted in both passion and purpose.
As a watercolour and charcoal artist, I capture the essence of endangered species and threatened habitats across the globe. Combining intricate details with expressive, abstract marks, each piece seeks to convey movement, emotion, and the soul of the subject. Whether through the piercing gaze of a great predator or the fleeting motion of a bird in flight, the artwork invites viewers into a moment of quiet wonder—a pause in the rush of modern life to reconnect with the wild.
My art serves as a bridge between people and nature, offering a reminder of the beauty that exists beyond our daily routines. Each creation tells a story, reflecting not only the struggles faced by vulnerable species but also the resilience and vitality of the natural world. By bringing these creatures to life on paper, the work hopes to inspire conservation, awareness, and a renewed sense of awe for the planet we share.
In addition to being an artist, I am a qualified teacher, finding immense joy in sharing the creative process with others. Teaching provides a unique opportunity to guide individuals in discovering their own artistic voice, fostering confidence, self-expression, and a deeper connection with the world around them. Through workshops I help others embrace the power of creativity as a source of inspiration and personal growth
