Artist information
My work is extremely varied and includes ceramics, sculptures, collage, and drawing and painting. It ranges from abstract coils and flowers painted in metallic acrylic and boldly outlined in black, to ceramics of flowers and cats, and then on to my more serious work which examines movement and emotion on the human form and these are more abstract and expressionistic. I also love making impressions of flowers to look as if they have been fossilised. I use clay, modrok, plaster, wax, breeze blocks and pastels and paints.
My inspiration comes from nature, patterns, colour, and what ever catches my attention.
