Sarah Rowe
Artist information
Sarah Rowe is an amateur artist-illustrator working from a home-studio in the glorious south-Worcestershire countryside. She spends her spare time drawing in pencil and pencil crayon, and painting in watercolour, gouaches and oils.
Sarah’s pictures are primarily figurative but not exclusively: they are often interiors or garden scenes which explore light and shade, but not always; they are sometimes softly toned, sometimes bold and vivid; but whatever the image, Sarah is essentially a designer and her work always concerns itself with layout and composition, and tone and its relationship to colour.
Sarah will be exhibiting a brand new body of work for Worcestershire Open Studios 2027. Watch this space…
