Hello, I have been making pottery since the 1970s, at colleges, Bourneville and Leicester then estblishing Alcester pottery. Now, right up to today at the Pottery at The Jinney Ring Craft Centre working and sharing a studio with various other potters. There is now three of us, myself and two chaps. We have a show room, a kiln room and a large workshop where we now hold evening classes every day of the week, and also run taster classes and are always thinking of other ways to spread the love of clay. As there is so much that can be done with it. We do fire the creations that are made in our studio also. I usually throw my pots or roll slabs and put them altogether again as vases usually trying to give some impression of plant material. My currant interest is to make bells, wedding commemortive, celebratory, and now flower bells. Such as Canterbury, Snowdrops, Bluebells, and Cobea.
