Artist information
I am a professional artist working from my studio in Colwall. My daily practice focuses mainly on painting and drawing, I like to use natural materials where possible. I am drawn to the landscape and the fauna and flora of the Malvern Hills and as such seasonality is very important. I also design fabrics from my paintings, taking inspiration from my interior design experience over the last 15 years. I produce soft furnishings, including lampshades, blinds and cushions. I would describe my work as impressionistic, however I do like to include some more representational elements to my work in the form of intaglio etching. I also run weekly workshops from my studio.
