Frans Wesselman

Etching, stained glass, painting

Etching was my first love and I still enjoy it. I love the quality of the etched line and the play of deep black and clean white with all the shades of grey between. My etchings, as all the rest of my work, are figurative and usually have a narrative element. For some twenty years now I have been making stained glass, executing many commissions and also making small panels, some mounted on plinths. Examples of these will be on show, as well as recent watercolours.
