Jane Arthur – Fragments, a Midlands Textile Forum exhibition

Midlands Textile Forum is an exhibiting group of textile artists based in the Midlands. Our second theme for 2026 is “Fragments”. The theme “Fragments” allows us to explore the evidence and process of fragmentation, exploring the ways in which things fall apart and ultimately disperse. Our work will take inspiration from detached fragments – what is broken off or isolated, and what is left behind – the remains or remnants of what was once whole. Each artist will interpret the theme in their own way using a wide variety of textile techniques
