Join me and fellow painter Tia Lambert in my garden studio, in Colwall. These old stables have been lovingly converted into an artist studio and their history continues to inspire my practice daily. I have been painting for almost 25 years, having studied in Cheltenham and Manchester, I spent seven years living in Australia, where I practised as a fine artist. I have been fascinated by the changing seasons and nature for over a decade and as such botanical subjects inspire the majority of my work. During Worcestershire Open Studios visitors will be able to view a wide range of artwork including paintings, etchings, fabrics and soft furnishings. I will also be demonstrating my practice daily, to give an insight into how my passion became my career.
