Hello I'm Steve; I'm a contemporary artist who took up painting following a successful career in IT. Upon retirement, I went back to college where, over a period of 6 years, I studied art and attained merits in Art and Design foundation certificate, and an HND in Fine Art at the Brierly Hill Art and Design college.
You will receive a warm welcome and refreshments to my studio where you can view over 50 paintings in a contemporary style. Much of my work reflects the dynamism of musical performance and my love of 20th century music, all created in a colourful and vivid style. In addition to my portfolio of portraits, there will also be a significant display of landscape paintings which underpin my love of visual perspective, in other words there will be something to suit most tastes. All of my work is for sale from £30 to £1500. There is no pressure on my part for you to purchase anything; it will be a pleasure for me just to show a wider audience my work which I have been creating for the last 20 years.
I'm constantly looking to evolve as an artist and to this end I have taken part in SKY's Landscape Artist of the year on 5 occasions , and have exhibited at a number of galleries in the area. I have completed many commissions over the years ,(some 50 in all ), many of which have been pet portraits, but have also included some unique requests such as a Harley Davidson Motor cyle and a Spitfire!
I am always available for commissions at reasonable rates and will carry out the work designed to match your specific requirements.
My studio is also my home and there is plenty of off road parking on our large front drive, so, I look forward to seeing you and showing you around my "gallery".
