On retirement I joined a local art group in Barnt Green and found that I became immersed in art in its many different forms. I have a love of drawing animals and have done many commissions of well loved pets. I am inspired to try different techniques and mediums. My first true love was coloured pencils, I find this medium particularly good for the variety of work I have produced so far. Although I enjoy other mediums I gravitate towards the finer detail coloured pencil allows. I am really looking forward to taking part in my first Worcestershire open studio with friends at Caldewell House and look forward to demonstrating my work and meeting new people.
