Angela Fitch Photography — Photographer
Photography has been in my soul for the best part of my life! I bought my first camera when I was 10 years old, it cost the princely sum of £3.00.
Today, I tote a lot more kit around with me, but the satisfaction of capturing something through the lens which tells its own story is still the vital ingredient in my work.
My photography passion is photographing people; each one of us is different and different every day. A typical week for me may include studio sessions, working on location and even a wedding. I help business people to create their ‘corporate look’, families to capture moments that will be treasured forever and, of course, newlyweds who will enjoy showing the wedding album to their children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren over decades to come.
In 2018 I embarked on my first personal photography project, a collection of 20 images of women who have made it in a man’s world. The work, ‘2020 Women of Vision’ is a collection of environmental portraits, each image telling an inspirational story as all of the 2020 Women of Vision have followed paths which have taken them into careers which have traditionally been male dominated.
The 2020 Women of Vision exhibition opened at The Hive, Worcester on 8th March and will tour in 2020 and 2021. The collection is also available as a book,‘2020 Women of Vision, A Little Book of Inspiration’ and I hope that women everywhere will be inspired by the stories and follow their own dreams, finding success and satisfaction in their chosen careers.www.angelafitchphotography.co.uk
