Jim Morris — Mixed media

Hello. I’m Jim Morris.
I love making things – and encouraging other people to make things too.
I especially like making ‘on location’ drawings – using traditional and non-traditional materials.
In this, I continue to be inspired by the worldwide ‘Urban Sketchers’ network – and their motto: “Show the world, one drawing at a time”.
As a founder member of Birmingham Urban Sketchers, I know how supportive and sociable such groups can be.
During lockdown(s), I have been devising and sharing “Staying at Home Artgames” and “Puppet Friends to Make” online
(please see weblinks below)
Having worked for 30 years or so as a Community Artist, I am aware of the transformative power of art-making for groups and for individuals. I recently retired and moved to Malvern, and happily have more time to devote to my own artwork.
I am excitedly exploring the local landscape…
Please let me know if you have any questions about my work – I’d be delighted to hear from you.
