Vicky Pryer — Mosaic Artist
I began making mosaics in 2010 after attending a couple of weekend courses in the Cotswolds. I then continued my learning, being lucky enough to find an excellent teacher living close by. For the last few years I have been self taught and adapt my style as I become more confident in my work.
I took part in the Worcestershire Open Studios 2019, opening my Studio in Broadway over the August Bank holiday weekend. It was a great success welcoming many visitors. It really boosted my confidence having so many people appreciate my work.
Mosaics can be made from so many things, found objects, broken china, shells, sea glass to name a few, but my preferred mediums to work with are ceramic tiles and stained glass incorporating some fused glass pieces which I am just starting to experiment with.
