Katie Beasley – Handbuilding Ceramics for beginners and continuing learners

Begin 2026 with creativity on an engaging and relaxing ceramics course to create items both functional and decorative. Over six weeks we shall explore the ceramic hand-building techniques of coiling, slab building and pinching. Plus surface decoration using coloured slips and glazes including new ones for 2026 – exciting!
Please note that course does not include a pottery wheel, it is a hand-building only course.
After learning about the basics, you can follow set projects, peruse the many books for inspiration or bring your own ideas to create. Guidance will be provided throughout.
