My paintings and textile pieces are inspired by love of local wildlife, the natural world and the surrounding landscape. I like to experiment with varied techniques, mixing media on fabric an different qualities of paper. My sketchbooks are important to me for recording, developing and sampling of ideas, eventually in some cases leading to a finished piece or series of pieces.
