I have been dabbling in the dust for 10 years now! My love of pastels came about after completing an equine in pastel course with artist Mary Herbert whose work continues to inspire me!
I love to paint wildlife and undertake commissions of domestic animals, mainly cats and dogs, in soft and pencil pastel on a sanded canvas but I can also use most other mediums including oils to create portraits too.
I am just in the process of designing some beginners courses in using pastel which should be available later in the year. I will have details of dates available on my Facebook page and for you to pick up during the open studios week. I will be pastelling away during that week so come along and ask me questions and you can also have a go yourself! I look forward to meeting you!
