Worcestershire Open Studios takes place from 28 to 31 August 2020

Worcestershire Open Studios provides visitors with an opportunity to meet local artists and see where they create their work.

The event offers artists the opportunity to share their working space, work and practice with the public as well as giving insights into their inspiration and creative processes.

Take part in Worcestershire Open Studios 2020

Open Studios takes place during the August Bank Holiday weekend and is open to artists who live and/or work in Worcestershire. The call for entries will close on 20 April 2020 or earlier if all places are filled.

Due to the coronavirus uncertainty we will continue to assess the situation regarding the Worcestershire Open Studios 2020 event. We are aware of the decisions other Open Studios and Arts Trails have taken although many of those were due to take place in spring or early summer.

At this moment our decisions are:

  • To continue with the current plans, ie. the Call for Entries remains open and will close on the 20 April. The date of Open Studios remains the same.
  • We will not ask artists to take out insurance at this stage but, should the event still go ahead, we will require it to be purchased and proof provided.
  • We will make a final decision about whether to go ahead before we have to commit to significant expenditure. We anticipate taking this decision around the end of May. We will refund people who have registered if we do have to cancel at that stage.
  • If we decide to go ahead and then have to cancel later, nearer the event, then a proportion of registration fees will be refunded in line with expenditure incurred.

We will constantly keep our eye on the situation and let you know of any change in position.
