Artist information
My work varies in subject matter and mediums. Subject matter is often inspired by a found object or material therefore chance plays an important part, creating anticipation and surprise.
Process is important in my practice, learning more about myself through new processes and experimenting with existing ones. Repetitive processes such as cutting printing plates or stitching allows contemplative space for meditation and prayer.
My work often references moments in which I glimpse God or see traces of other people’s presence.
I started my studies at Malvern Hills Art College and completed them at Hereford College of Arts where I undertook an MA in Fine Art.
