Hi, I’m Anna, and I paint in oils mostly using palette knives.
I’m big into skies and love the Malvern hills. Give me a windy day and a blink of sun by the sea in winter and I’m in my element.
I find painting cathartic. I have a vague plan, and go with how the mood takes me. I seem to be leaning heavily towards sunsets this year. Lots of hopeful pinks and yellows. Avoiding the melancholy blues.
Looking forward to Worcestershire Open Studios art week. It’s one of my favourite events of the year, and if you come and visit hopefully you might like some of what you see. Definitely don’t come for the coffee. Apparently it’s awful. I make a decent cup of tea though. 😉
