Artist information
Hello!
Thank you for visiting my page. A painterly person, I enjoy moments of calm and contemplation working in mixed media, but favouring acrylics. Having joined a start-up ColourWheel class in May 2019, I’m the perpetual art student – always learning and experimenting.
Here you will find pen and ink, charcoal and chalk plus pastel sketches alongside watercolour, gouache and acrylic paintings. There will be cards, prints and plenty of artwork on display this August.
My art work covers an eclectic range of topics. So, as I did last time, I will arrange a selection of framed art work in six dedicated areas, more or less as follows:
- Animals, Birds and Nature
- Buildings and Street Scenes
- Christmas and Devotional
- Flowers, Food and Still Life
- Landscapes, Seascapes and Space
- People and Portraits
My approach to art is often spontaneous, loving light and colour, texture and form.
Impressionism?
Come and see for yourself – we look forward to welcoming you!
Warmest wishes, Charlotte
