Artist information
The name ‘Bunksy’ came from my eldest grand-daughter who, when aged two, couldn’t say “Grumps” and said “Bunks” instead.
The name stuck to my family’s huge amusement, so that’s who I still am now (10 years on!).
I have loved working with wood all my life and since retirement added the pleasure of lathe turning and hand carving.
I am based in the Bishampton Worcestershire and welcome workshop visits and I have a display are above the workshop.
Harry Potter wands are my speciality although I make bowls, chopping boards from solid oak, desktop pencil holders, apples and fruit, kitchen utensil holders, mice, birds and wooden eggs,
My wands are made from the proper wood (if known or available to me ) and are usually lathe turned and / or hand carved.
I will be adding more wands in the next few weeks, namely the wands of Hermione Grainger, Fleur Delacore, Draco Malfoy etc.
