My print ideas can come from pretty much anywhere: memories, a phrase, poems, music, daydreaming or just observation and sketches. I’ve always been drawn to the natural world and things that have some meaning or humour, but I would never rule anything out if it interests me. I’m fascinated with process and thats probably why I have taken to printmaking and enjoy exploring different techniques and learning from others. I draw and paint as well but for the moment I’m concentrating on making prints in short runs. I’ve lived in North Worcestershire all my life (so far) and I’m enjoying being part of the Worcestershire art network.
