Hi my name is Janis and I am Janis Presbury Designs.
I am a designer and maker of jewellery and small items.
I am passionate about making and have a love of detail coupled with a butterfly mind. This is amply demonstrated in the items I produce: finely etched designs on copper, unusual silver chain work and hand-knotted semi-precious bead and pearl necklaces with handmade clasps. Alongside these I make miniature teddy bears, rabbits and mice in mohair or plush, often with hand crafted accessories. I am inspired by anything and everything, my joy comes from looking at an object, texture or creature and translating it into something other.
