Artist information
I have been living in the Malvern Hills for 7 years and have rekindled my love for pottery making since finding clay in my garden. I have an ongoing interest in making for the table. I use terracotta clay for earthenware items and black stoneware for items I prefer to fire to a higher temperature. I very much enjoy decorating in the sgraffito style and being fairly spontaneous with each piece. I am also involved with the construction of teapots and the challenges posed by them.
I bring into play over 50 years of practice and very many different techniques developed and used in that time.
