Artist information
Inspired by nature – my work observes, deconstructs and abstracts using a mixture of wax resist on cotton or paper, I also use Charcoal, pencil and inks. I produce both detailed and abstracted batik works, full of dynamic movement and expression. I celebrate and urge the protection of the wild flora and fauna we still have in the UK. I run Coach house Studio on Bellevue Terrace and run regular batik, drawing and printmaking workshops www.coachhousestudio.co.uk. I also teach an art week in Portugal
