Artist information
I enjoy working with textiles and printmaking and use both to create collages. I’ve also recently started hand building with clay. I have attended many courses over the years which are not only a great source of inspiration but enable me to learn new skills.
My work is abstract rather than representational and is often inspired by the natural world. Previous themes have included text, pebbles, maps, poetry and marks in nature. I print and dye my own fabrics and embellish them with hand and machine embroidery. I also use a variety of print making techniques to create collages.
I have previously exhibited my work in galleries but, as I now have my own studio in my garden, it is lovely to have a dedicated space where people can come and see my work.
