Art Clay Love – it is what it says. A love of art, creativity and ceramics.
Hello, I am Katie is a ceramic artist and crafter, based in Worcestershire. I first fell in love with ceramics whilst at secondary school, inspired by a wonderful and caring teacher. The art room became a place of solace and calm away from other pressures and although a different path was taken academically and professionally, ceramics never left my heart and there was always a yearning to return. After attending local evening classes to get immersed once more, many years later, a change of career opened an opportunity to share my enthusiasm with others providing creative learning to adults, children, families and communities, through workshops, classes and immersive events.
I am passionate about handmade, supporting local businesses, UK-made and being sustainable and ethical. When making my own items, to sell at seasonal markets and commissions, my creations aim to be unique that will be a welcome addition to your home and a thoughtful gift for loved ones to cherish and to celebrate all occasions.
