Artist information
Mostly using watercolour, I work to blend art, science and experimental processes. Inspired by Worcestershire’s landscapes, wildlife and skies, I explore light, and reflection through expressive work and hints of projection.
I work mainly in watercolour, blending art, science and experimental processes such as cyanotype to create expressive, atmospheric work. Inspired by Worcestershire’s rivers, landscapes, wildlife and skies, light and reflection are at the heart of my practice.
My work moves between careful observation — painting birds, flowers, trees, water, clouds and reflections — and more instinctive pieces that often emerge in quieter hours. These raw, expressive works capture mood, texture and personal experience, reflecting the energy that surfaces when making art in still or late-night moments.
In the lovely shared garden space, my goal is to provide possible hints of projection/lighting offering visitors a sense of how light interacts with the work and space.
Visitors can expect to see watercolours, experimental prints and cyanotypes, alongside works in progress, revealing how ideas evolve and experimentation shapes outcomes. My aim is to share both the beauty of the natural world and the intimate, expressive side of art-making — a place where observation, experimentation, light and personal expression come together.
