Artform: Drawing, Illustration
My artwork is inspired by the nature around me, birds flitting in and out of my walled cottage garden and the goings on of the wildlife foraging in the undergrowth. Flowers and birds are my passion, and I like to portray them in Professional Coloured Pencil and graphite. The sharp pencils and unique techniques, allow me to produce tiny details bringing each piece to life, blending the results to achieve a painted feel to the work. My work will be available at my open studio for sale in both original and print form. Please feel free to ask any questions about my work – I am always happy to explain how I work and the techniques employed.
