I would describe myself as a representational artist with a strong interest in the human form. Drawing, and in particular life drawing, has always been a constant in my practice and during your visit you will see examples of portraits, figure work and other pieces on display.
Currently I am exploring hands through gesture and purpose, and I will be working on some of these pieces during the Open Studio week so please come and say hello!
Some of my work is available to buy and I accept private commissions. I offer regular untutored life drawing sessions at my studio as well as a range of full-day workshops for beginners and those wanting to develop their drawing/painting skills further. One-to-one tutoring is also available to suit individual abilities.
My studio is based on the edge of the East Worcestershire border, close to Feckenham and Alcester. Astwood Bank is a small but busy village with great pubs, bars and cafes to enjoy so do add me to your art trail; it will be great to meet you.
