Shelley Faye Lazar’s designs are very much in consideration for interiors, where the original hand stitched pieces and high quality giclée prints and cushions are available. Colour and eye catching images add that precious focal point to a wall or a naked sofa!
Her “Trompe L’Oeil Collection” of scarves originate from the theme of the structure of textiles – weaving, needlepoint and knitting. The artworks are transferred to luxury fabrics, creating accessible, enjoyable products for a wider audience. The awareness of textiles and thread, communicating techniques and function remain in the highest quality reproductions.
During the Open Studios event, she will be working on a couple of tapestry designs.
