Fused Glass Artist

This years Worcester Open Studios will be my first. We create our art in our Kenswick Manor studio with Linda Philp as part of Essnelle Glass Art.

After an introduction to cutting and fusing bullseye glass I knew that I was on a journey to create a range of beautiful art for homes and gardens.

I use transparent or opaque sheet glass frit, and powdered glass. I am inspired by colours, shapes and texture to make my unique handmade art which can then be slumped into shape. Using various techniques the glass is fired and annealed into shape in the studio Kiln in the grounds of the Sculpture Garden in the West Wing of Kenswick Manor. There will be a selection of unique art work for sale over the event and can discuss any potential commissions, We are also willing to discuss our processes and techniques

The studio is set in my garden in rural Worcestershire and is the showcase for my work. The Kenswick Manor west wing garden was designed and constructed by multi Chelsea gold winning garden designer, Peter Dowle, and this provides a great place to visit. Im looking forward to welcoming you, come and meet us in the studio and to see our creations.
