I create unique and original art that is inspired by the beauty and fragility of the natural world; sometimes quirky, sometimes serious but always curious – the result of research and intrigue.
Most of my art is made using the cyanotype process, a technique that uses sunlight to create dramatic blue and white images. I love that cyanotypes are created in partnership with nature, allowing chance and the weather to be part of the process.
I integrate photography, printmaking, collage and mixed media into my images to create unique original pieces of art.
When you visit my studio you will be able to see work in progress and sketchbooks as well as finished work that will give you an insight into my research and to what inspires me.
