Jo Sullivan – Willow Serving Tray Workshop

Join us for a relaxed few hours on the farm making your own willow serving platter.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create your own rustic tray made from natural willow – perfect as a food serving tray, as a trivet for hot pans or just for decoration!
This workshop will be taught in a small, friendly group with a maximum of 8 adults, and is suitable for complete beginners, aged 18+.
We’ll be keeping things slow paced and will introduce you to some simple willow crafting techniques. Enjoy a relaxed morning on the farm, with hopefully some Autumn sunshine!
We’ll include a short break for everyone to stretch their fingers and there will be refreshments available from the Community Cafe at the farm.
All tools and materials will be supplied and no previous experience is required. Please note though that this project does require some finger strength and dexterity to bend the willow into place.
Learn some traditional willow crafting skills and take home something you’ve made with your own hands.
