Who are we?
Malvern Pastel Artists is a friendly and thriving community art group meeting fortnightly in Malvern Link. We welcome other local pastel enthusiasts to create in a relaxed social space. Members range in experience and backgrounds. We support beginners by providing art supplies in Sessions.
What do we mean be Pastels?
What we love about pastels is that it’s drawing and painting combined in one; with intense colours closer to the raw pigment than other media. We define pastels as including; soft pastels, hard pastels, pan pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, graphite, crayons, any pencils and stick form media. Many of us are mixed-media artists and combine pastels with other media; for example watercolour.
Meetings
At each meeting you are free to work on your own project or on a theme/still life suggested and provided by group members for inspiration. The session will be relaxed and informal. We are growing in popularity so please do book your space beforehand to ensure we all have a comfortable space to create. session tickets can be booked in advance, pleasevisit https://buytickets.at/malvernpastelartists here
