Christine Harmer – Enamelling Taster Workshop

Timing: 2 Hour Sessions – 10am – 12pm
Date: 1 June to 19 December 2026
I love to pass on my knowledge and skills (learnt over many years) in fun, friendly introductory workshops for individuals and small groups (2-4 people). At a workshop session, participants will learn the basic skills and use simple techniques to complete something unique to them, such as a piece of jewellery, or small plaque (which can be displayed at home, perhaps mounted later in a frame, or used to decorate a book of thoughts & poems). All enamelled items will be finished and ready to take home after the session. The taster sessions are available on several days a week usually Wednesday – Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm.
Small group sessions can be booked by one person as a creative activity with friends/relatives – Prices from £35 – £40 per perso (depending on number attending). An individually tutored workshop is currently £70. While anyone can do a session on their own if they wish, these sessions are aimed particularly at those who are especially interested in the craft and may wish to develop this further. Advice available on acquiring equipment and materials. Prices include tuition and all materials to complete one item at group workshops or, two at an individual session. If time permits a second item can be made at a group session for an additional £8 (payable on the day).
