A background in healthcare architecture lead me to find out about biophilic design – the use of natural materials and elements that represent nature in our workplaces and homes. Biophilia is proven to improve mood and wellbeing and the rate of recovery in healthcare patients. Learning about this and putting it together with my love of wildlife and drawing, I try to create art that connects people to nature.
I use pen and ink, paint, marker pen and paper to make original pieces, prints, greeting cards and gifts.
I still love architecture, so there are a few local buildings and landmarks thrown in for good measure.
