Artform: Painting

I am a landscape artist, painting in watercolours and acrylics, with a particular passion for trees. My approach to watercolours is not a traditional one as it is based on whole paper washes into which the detail is painted once dry. The work is imaginative and the actual composition evolves during the process with the result being impressionist in nature.
I love to explore texture in work and my latest collection of watercolours are painted on canvas which has had added gesso applied.
I will be demonstrating this process during the event and will be exhibiting a large number of completed paintings both framed and unframed.
