A Garden Studio in the Landscape
Visitors are warmly invited to my garden studio to explore a collection of organic abstract paintings and mixed-media works inspired by the natural world and our deep connection with it.

Inspired by the Malvern Hills
My studio has sweeping views of the Malvern Hills, whose changing light, shifting weather, and layered landscapes are a constant source of inspiration. These expansive views often find their way into my work through fluid colour, woven marks, and richly layered surfaces that evoke natural processes—growth, erosion, movement, and time.

Layered and Explorative Work
Inside the studio you’ll discover a range of work including large atmospheric paintings, smaller pieces, textile explorations, book arts, works on paper, cards and gifts. Many begin with playful experimentation—combining painting, printing, collage, and stitch—to create surfaces that feel intuitive and deeply connected to the landscape.

A Chance to See the Process
Open Studios offers a rare opportunity to see where the work is made, watch demos, explore pieces not normally shown together, and talk informally about the ideas and processes behind them. A selection of works will be available to purchase, from small affordable pieces to larger paintings.

Workshops and Retreats
Visitors will also be able to find out about my regular creative workshops, seasonal textile sessions, and immersive art retreats, all designed to help people slow down, experiment with materials, and reconnect with creativity through nature.

Directions: The Knapp is well signed, and (limited) visitor off-road parking marked in a ‘layby’ under the house. Visitors with mobility issues can park at the garage. Note there is a grass path up to the studio.
