KINDLY NOTE – WORCESTERSHIRE OPEN STUDIOS 2026
I am exhibiting primarily at Venue 83.
However, as we are closed on Tuesday 25 August and Thursday 27 August, my Malvern Studio (located at Venue 88) will be open 10.00am to 4.30pm on those dates.
Drawn to mark-making and the expressive qualities of materials, I work primarily in ink and acrylic, often incorporating elements of collage, printmaking and stitch. My intuitive approach allows the materials to guide the process, resulting in work that ranges from representational to abstract and semi-abstract.
Inspired by time spent walking in nature and sketching the landscape, I seek to capture not only what is seen, but also the atmosphere, rhythm and sense of place that make each experience unique.
As both a painter and multi-award-winning textile artist, mark-making is at the heart of my practice. I am continually fascinated by the possibilities that can emerge from a few carefully placed stitches, a simple pencil line or the sweep of a brush.
Based in my studio in Malvern town centre, I welcome visitors by appointment, where they can view and purchase original artwork directly from the studio. To arrange a visit, please contact me via my website. You can also meet me during Open Studio and Meet the Artist events. Small-group workshops are planned for the future; please get in touch if these may be of interest.
Alongside membership of Creatives Connect Malvern, I exhibit with the Malvern Hills-based group Artstrands. A selection of my work is also available at Aetheria Gallery in Malvern, plus work can be viewed and purchased online via my website.
I look forward to welcoming visitors to the studio and sharing the inspiration and processes behind my work.
