Artist information
As long as I can remember I have had a camera in my hand, documenting family holidays and local people and, after starting a degree in fine art, I decided photography was work pursuing as a career. After working as a staff photographer on the Evesham Journal series, a few years ago now, I began teaching photography at Evesham College of Higher Education and retired in 2020 after twenty years. I now devote more of my time to my passion for landscape, wildlife and travel photography. I have entered several international photography competitions and have been a winner in the Travel Photographer of the Year, had work published in International Garden POTY and been shortlisted for Landscape POTY. I have been a member of The Gallery at The Guild since its set up as a co-operative in 2005 and have had a variety of exhibitions locally. Being able to print and display my images is important to me.
I love the way the light and the variety of weather conditions transform the landscape around us and enjoy the challenge of capturing a moment in time. I am looking forward to sharing time with a group of talented artists at Cotswold Edge studios as part of Worcester Open Studios and to meeting visitors.
