‘Let us see how high we can fly before the sun melts the wax on our wings.’ E.O Wilson

First there was the noble dream of flight. What desire has driven us to conquer this land, cross oceans and become the very birds we dreamt of? Ancient tales of hubris will repeat themselves, nature will prevail. My current work observes the domination and domestication of the elements, I offer no solution, for the snake shall eat its own tail.

I live and work in my late grandfathers (A. John Poole FRBS) studio in Bishampton. I will be working on a series of monumental carvings and my grandfathers work will be available to view.
