Artform: Drawing, Painting, Textiles & Needlework

I am interested in shapes, patterns and textures and particularly enjoy painting boats, flowers and plants. I see patterns and shapes in objects and the landscape around me. I originally trained in fabric design and pattern cutting and I’ve always been interested in mathematics. Over the years I have used textiles, threads, gouache, watercolours and over recent years acrylic paints which I really enjoy using. Although the style of my work has changed a lot over the years my interests have not.
