You will find me living and working in a village south of Pershore and the foot of Bredon Hill and surrounded by wonderful countryside.
I have been drawing, painting and creating all of my life, I am largely self-taught and my style has evolved over the years and continues to do so.
My inspirations are twofold; firstly architecture, specifically vernacular domestic architecture, which I like to portray in line and wash. I am constantly fascinated by decay, dereliction and the way in which mother nature reclaims any neglected manmade environment. In complete contrast, my other inspiration is the natural landscape, which I prefer to depict in a loose, semi-abstract style.
A large part of my work is commission based, almost exclusively portrayals of buildings. I enjoy the challenge of the varied architectural styles I'm requested to depict.
I would be delighted if you visit me in my little garden studio where I will no doubt be playing with watercolour and drinking tea.
