Membership applications for 2026, along with registration for Worcestershire Open Studios Art Week, will be open from 14th February to 25th March 2026. Art Week 2026 takes place from 22nd – 31st August 2026.
We welcome applications from all practising artists and makers who are strongly committed to their art form and are based either in Worcestershire or close to the county border. You need to be an approved member before you can register for WOS Art Week.
As a volunteer-run, non-profit organisation, we are funded entirely through membership fees, event fees and the generous support of our sponsors.
Fees:
- Annual membership: £35
Membership must be renewed each year and is required to take part in the 2026 event
- Event participation fees for 2026 (there has been no increase from 2025):
£105 each for solo participants
£95 each for group participants (all group participants must be members)
We know how important it is for visitors to meet the person behind the artwork. Worcestershire Open Studios Art Week places a strong emphasis on the individual artist or maker. A “group” simply refers to artists or makers exhibiting in a shared space – each participant still has their own listing in the guide but shares a venue number, ensuring the focus remains on each individual artist or maker.
We understand that exhibiting alone can sometimes be a barrier to taking part in Worcestershire Open Studios. That’s why, we’ve launched a brand-new free ‘noticeboard’ called ‘Venue Match’ designed to help artists and makers connect with potential co-exhibitors and for venues to offer available exhibition space.

You can also choose to join as a non-participating artist – enjoying all the membership benefits without the obligation to exhibit in Art Week.
