Venue Match

We know it can feel daunting to take part if you don’t have a suitable space. Our Venue Match platform is designed as a simple tool to help artists and makers connect directly with venues, and for venues, including studios, to find participants for Worcestershire Open Studios Art Week, 22 to 31 August 2026.

Venue Match is a noticeboard style platform, not a managed matchmaking service. Worcestershire Open Studios does not pair people up or broker arrangements. It simply provides a space for participants to find each other and start their own conversations.

Venues hosting more than one artist or maker often benefit from increased footfall, shared promotion, and a more diverse visitor demographic, making collaboration a positive experience for everyone. With over 25,000 printed guides distributed and more than 18,000 studio and venue visits in 2025, Worcestershire Open Studios Art Week is the county’s biggest free art event, and visitor feedback has been outstanding. A key focus of Art Week is meeting the artists and makers behind the work, so participants must be present at their venue.

Who Venue Match can help

  • an artist or maker looking for a space
  • a studio holder wanting a co exhibitor
  • a venue wishing to host creatives during Art Week

If you are looking for a venue or co exhibitor, it is your responsibility to contact any listings that interest you. WOS is a volunteer run organisation and is not able to manage introductions or arrangements. Venue Match is simply an aid to help potential participants find each other.

You are also encouraged to approach venues not listed here, such as village halls, cafés or community hubs, to enquire about hire and perhaps form a small exhibiting group.

Venue Match opens on 15 December, allowing time to plan ahead of Art Week applications, which open on 14 February. We recommend securing your venue early and posting your listing as soon as possible. Both Art Week applications and Venue Match close on 25 March (though to really have any success with using Venue Match you should post on there as soon as possible!). You do not need to use Venue Match in order to take part. It is an optional tool to support the process of finding a co exhibitor or venue.

Once venues or artists/makers looking for or offering space have uploaded their details, they will appear on a map and you can make contact directly with them.

To see the listings map, you will need to be ‘logged in’ to the website. If you have an account already, simply ‘Log In’ in the menu at the top, if you are not yet registered on this site, you can create a free account HERE.
