Anne Guest — Artist

I am inspired by the beauty, fragility and vulnerability of the natural world.
I like to make my work using processes that reflect these ephemeral qualities – I use smoke from a candle to deposit soot on paper as well as the cyanotype process which is a camera-less photographic printing process that uses ultraviolet light and results in blueprints.
I draw, paint and take photographs too.
I also work collaboratively with fellow WOS artist and photographer Richard Nicholls and together we work on photographic projects exploring ideas about the environment and memories.
