Fiber Artist & Mixed Media

A weaving of various shades of pink and red using different types of wool and techniques such as crochet, knotting, and braiding serves as a metaphor for the painful symptoms of endometriosis, visually representing my anatomy.

Artform: Mixed media, Multidisciplinary, Textiles & Needlework

I’m an enthusiastic artist who is passionate about using textiles to share my journey with endometriosis and its impact on my life. Through fiber art, I weave powerful metaphors that beautifully express my story. With a diverse background in painting, sculpture, and installation, I love experimenting with various materials to enrich my narrative instead of limiting myself to just one medium.

Beyond my work, I thrive as a participatory artist, collaborating with women with shared experiences of endometriosis. Together, we explore the incredible potential of creativity as a holistic tool for enhancing well-being and fostering positive connections. It allows us to express our lived experiences and cultivates a sense of belonging among those who resonate with our journey.

I’m excited to participate in Worcestershire Open Studios. I aim to inspire and connect with visitors while sharing engaging conversations about my art, endometriosis, and the important links between the arts, health, and well-being.
