From a young age, I’ve always been fascinated with form and shape from building things and figuring out how things are put together. As a teen I was given access to a darkroom and immediately fell in love with art as a form of self expression, that has never really gone away. At 23, I decided to follow that passion by studying for A BA. in Fine Art, focusing on sculpture and photography and culminating in a Masters degree in Fine Art advanced theory and practice. I’ve been working as a fine artist ever since.

Then about five years ago I started to experiment with new ways of producing my photographic prints.  I had found C41 and Digital print making too limiting, this is when I (unfortunately for my sanity) re-discovered Screen printing. I have become hooked to the point of obsession in printmaking ever since. Using it as a way to express my emotions and ideas about myself and the world we live in. Through ink and the textures of my substrate, I find joy in the physical process and design almost as much as the final image. For me, it’s all about the journey of turning my intimate thoughts into something real, tangible with a sense of feeling for an underlying message.

For the last few years I’ve been evolving out of the gallery space and creating more pasteup street art at first self-authorised but now also authorised. The pieces range from small A2 multi-layered screen-prints to large  three metre multi-layered pieces.

I have recently been making and shooting ultra large scale DIY Polaroid cameras ranging from 10×8 inch up to 18×20 inch (450 x 600mm) by taking RA4 colour photographic paper and then cross processing it in camera to give one off unique Polaroid’s.
