As every year, I’m very much looking forward to welcoming Worcestershire Open Studios visitors to my studio and artist’s gallery. I call myself a mixed media artist because I love to mix up acrylic paint, ink and collage papers to create intriguing images – both local scenes and imaginary landscapes. I also love to paint flowers.
This year I’m aiming to do a few more local pieces (as always popular), a set of much larger ‘dreamscapes’, and then to focus on beautiful ‘florals’, I think. We’ll see… it will depend on where my mind takes me.
My studio is located in the Woodland Studios at Bevere Gallery on the edge of Worcester (WR3 7RQ) and I’m one of the six resident professional artists on the site. The Woodland Studios are open to visitors through the year Tuesday to Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. There’s a very popular cafe on the site!
